The Backstreet Boys are back. The famous boyband of the ’90s has announced a new tour of Australia. The boys will also rope in the original band member Kevin Richardson for their upcoming tour. Kevin temporarily left the boy band in 2006 and reunited with his fellow band members in 2013.
“This last year and a half of touring with my bandmates again couldn’t have been any better, but I’m so excited to finally get back to Australia and play for our Aussie fans,” Richardson is quoted as saying by Music Feeds. The singer also added that he would “not feel complete” without spending time in his favourite hang out places in Australia.
The Backstreet Boys will make their comeback to Australia with “In A World Like This Tour.” The boys last performed in Australia way back in 2012 when there were only four members in their band. But this time, when they kick off their tour in May 2015, all the original five members – A. J. McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Littrell, will be present.
